Khao Takiab Temple
The temple, which is a thirty-minute drive from the Devasom Hua Hin Resort, is known for its massive statue of Buddha. It’s approximately 20 meters or 65.6 feet tall—that’s about the size of a 6-story building! It’s right at the base of the hill, so you won’t be able to miss it.

Wat Huay Mongkol
This temple is also a thirty-minute drive from our resort and is an extremely popular destination for visitors—especially Buddhist pilgrims! It is also home to Thailand’s largest Buddha image of Luang Phor Tuad, which draws in thousands of visitors every weekend.
Sitting among several streams, waterfalls, pavilions, bridges, and a lake, the temple is a great place to spend time to relax, refocus, and simply enjoy. It also features many restaurants and shops that sell Buddhist amulets—ensuring that there’s just about everything you need within the premises. We advise you to visit the temple during weekdays, however, when it’s a bit less crowded.
Wat Khao Sanam Chai
This temple has gorgeous white buildings with artistic gold trimmings, which are made even more visually pleasing with the numerous bells and flags decorating its facade. It also features stunning panoramic views, which are especially breathtaking during sunsets. Many visitors flock to the temple at night for this reason.
Wat Bor Fai
Located along Khao Takiap–Hua Hin Road, the temple is situated around 5 kilometers north of Hua Hin. It is famous for its numerous ponds, in which sacred catfish swim. Visitors are free to feed the catfish after they donate a small sum to the monks.
Wat Khao Krai Lart
The temple, just 20 kilometers from the Devasom Hua Hin Resort, is located between two other temples on a mountain. However, visitors are free to join the meditation sessions, which take place in the afternoon. The interior showcases murals that illustrate vignettes of Buddha’s life, along with golden statues of his likeness.
