If you want to hit the waves and ride on them, consider going on a surfing adventure there. For the perfect surf beach, head to Khuk Khuk Beach. There, you’ll find plenty of stunning waves to catch, as well as natural beauty to relax in after a day full of surfing.
Are you tired of the surface? Then dive underwater and play with the fishes! Put on your snorkeling equipment and explore the life beneath the waves. In doing so, you will enter a whole new world that is filled with exotic wildlife, from colorful corals to vibrant sea creatures.
2. Explore the sandy shores
Khao Lak is lined with beautiful sandy shores, the most famous being Nang Thong Beach. Thanks to its amazingly clear waters, soft white sands, and lush palm trees, the beach is an excellent place for you sit back, relax, sip on your favorite drink, and read a good book.
If Nang Thong Beach is a little too crowded for you, there are many other beaches you can consider visiting, such as Bang Niang Beach, Pakarang Cape, and the beaches on the Surin and Similan Islands. They’re all beautiful, and we highly recommend that you visit them if you have the time.
3. Trek through the National Park
Khao Lak is well known for its Lam Ru National Park. It is a complete combination of flora and fauna. Strap on your boots and hike through the lush forests, listening to the sounds of its inhabitants and, if you’re lucky, even see them face to face!
Other national parks you should consider visiting would be Thai Muang National Park and Ao Phang Nga National Park, each offering its unique set of attractions that make them truly stunning in their special way.
4. Visit the waterfalls
Khao Lak has plenty of waterfalls to offer, such as Lamp Waterfall and Sai Rung Waterfall. However, if there is one waterfall that we must recommend to you, that would be the Chong Fah Waterfall.
Everything about the Chong Fah Waterfall is just spectacular. It is the place to go if you want to surround yourself with beautiful nature while listening to the rushing of the waters as it flows over boulders of rock into a pool where you can take a refreshing dip in.
