Memories of Thailand Winter Celebrations on the Beach -

The past few months have been busy at Devasom Khao Lak. To our great delight we have welcomed guests from all around the world. In December we had the opportunity to enjoy the holiday season with memorable Christmas and New Year celebrations under the stars. In February, romance was in the air, with a special Valentine’s dinner on the beach. Here we share of some our favorite moments from the past few months.

1. Christmas on the Beach in Thailand

Most people think of a white Christmas, with snowy evenings and hot chocolate by the fire. But celebrating Christmas in Thailand is different. On Christmas Eve guests were treated to Thai celebrity singers, Grace Karnklao and Pakin from The Voice.

You can leave your sweaters, scarves and coats at home because at Devasom Khao Lak, you will be celebrating Christmas under the stars, sinking your toes into the sand, and reveling in a majestic sunset.

2. Happy Bus on Boxing Day

Santa waved from the Devasom's bus on boxing day to deliver specials present.

The day after Christmas, on the 26th of December, Devasom Khao Lak brought out the Happy Bus. The owners and staff together loaded the Happy Bus with gifts and delivered them to the Phang Nga School for Life, a school and home for disadvantaged and orphaned children.

3. New Year’s Eve Under the Stars at Devasom Khao Lak

What could be more memorable than ringing in the new year on the beach? Our guests had the chance to enjoy a warm evening under a star-filled sky as we counted down to the new year. We entertained our guests with dances and daring fire shows.

4. Valentine’s Day Romantic Beach Dinner

Sunset on the beach at Devasom Khao Lak is the absolute perfect setting for a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner. Sitting on the beach, under an orange-tinged sky, watching the sky turn from pink to purple as the sun goes down on the horizon.
